Melissa Fry is a contemporary artist and illustrator trained at St Paul’s and St Mary’s College, Cheltenham, graduating with a BEd (Hons) degree in Art and Education. Working across a range of media, her paintings explore both the cultivated beauty of the English kitchen garden and the exhilarating world of Formula One racing.

Her English Kitchen Garden collection celebrates the colour, texture, and organic forms of home-grown vegetables, inspired by the richness of the British countryside and seasonal harvests. In contrast, her Formula One paintings capture the speed, movement, and excitement of motorsport through dynamic composition and expressive mark-making.

Through these contrasting subjects, Melissa’s work reflects a fascination with energy, observation, and the character of both nature and engineering.
